Costume
The character in my music video will be from the D-A socio-economic classification, therefore this will be clear to the audience in my costumes and makeup.
Male

The inspiration behind my male actors costume is the 'Skinheads' of the 80s. These were groups of men who wore heavy boots, folded jeans, trouser braces and shaved heads. The version of the skinheads I have been inspired by is the inclusive youth movement, rather than the later versions who proved to be much less inclusive.
Female

The inspiration behind my female actors costume is the red plaid rocker type chick. There will be the heavy use of black coloured clothing to contrast the red plaid flannel and Harrington Jacket, a commonly work jacket in the 80s. As well as this, the actor will also be wearing the black patent Dr Martens boots. These are commonly worn now, especially among rock fans, as well as rock fans of the 80s.Hair and makeup
The hair and makeup for my male actor will only consist of the skinhead, as this is the type of rock male look I am going for.
The hair and makeup for my female actor will be clearly 80s inspired, with her hair being put in a high ponytail, which has been crimped, and the makeup consisting of bold eye shadow.

The colours I aim to use for my actors makeup will be electric colours, with blue being the main colour. The actors will also have black eyeliner and mascara on to make her eyes look more defined. Other than the eye makeup, the rest of the makeup will be close to natural makeup, with there being the use of foundation to match the skin, and the slight use of blush on the cheeks.
